Overview
During my long-term working practice at the Green Mobility Initiative I had the pleasure of collaborating alongside wonderful experts and professionals in the field of Sustainable Development. As a result, several inspirational and hands-on projects on topics, such as Urban Planning, Cyclling Infrastructure Development and Sustainable Food Consuption have been implemented and hopefully reached out and inspired a great number of people.

Actually this publication has emerged in response to the coronavirus pandemic. It showcases the examples of how during this critical times the cities have been transforming urban spaces, freeing them from cars and creating infrastructure for cycling and walking.

Green Mobility Handbook
This handbook provides hand-on advice and Nordic technologies of success how to transform cities from car-centric to people-oriented development with safe, low-carbon, healthy, smart, multimodal urban transport systems. Our international partners and partner-cities of Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden are front-runners of sustainable urban transport transformation. We see how city governments are taking bold steps to develop not only transport infrastructure, but also the culture of urban citizens.
Rural Innovations
RUNO: Russian-Nordic Partnership for Rural Innovations. The goal of the project is to contribute to the innovative territorial development of the participating Nordic and North-West Russian regions through enhancement of economic cooperation and trade between the Nordic Countries and the North-West Russia.
CITY SAGA
CITY SAGA. Public spaces in transformation. This project connects the broad Nordic experience of transforming city spaces into resident-friendly environments with the efforts of St. Petersburg urban planning experts and local citizens to create and develop lively public spaces in the city of St. Petersburg. SAGA stands for Smart, Attractive, Green, Accessible - the qualities any modern public space should be characterized by. The aim of the project is to contribute to the development of public spaces in St. Petersburg, to transform them into greener, smarter, more attractive and accessible spaces.
